PostSubject: World Cup   Fri Jul 09, 2010 12:21 pm

Any watch the World Cup?

I've been watching since the day it started. I can't believe it's now Holland (Netherland) against Spain.

I thought Germany would go up to the finals because of their impressive games (4-1 win against England and a 4-0 win against Argentina). Suprisingly, they lost to Spain which I thought they would of beaten. This may also be due to the fact that Germany's child prodigy, Thomas Mueller, was suspended for the semi-final because of his two yellow cards.

Anyways, you can never tell. You gotta play the game. It all depends on who's day it is on that certain day. (hope I taught a lesson?)

Let's get this World Cup/Football (soccer) discussion on! Very Happy

EDIT: Thomas Mueller is 20 years old, and scored four goals and made three assists so far. That's pretty impressive for a 20 year old in the World Cup.

I never was a big soccer fan. I just like watching the replays of the goals.

And soccer refs don't seem too good either.

But hey, that's just me <.<

It's not just you. The soccer refs during the 2010 FIFA World Cup sucked. Goals were disallowed, etc.
